killing my malong

the proper way to get in a malong is by stepping INTO it (versus over the head). not to confuse with stepping ON it... which i seem to keep doing.

Faisal says he isn't sure why this is the proper way, but the Magui elders get very upset when they see folks get in a malong over the head. i'll let you all know as soon as i find out why this is so.

next question... in Magui society, who performs the dance Asik?
(check out whatever dance descriptions you have. i'm interested to see what folks say...)
