let's rock...

so... got the exhibit coming up at THE asian art museum... ya know, the show i've been working on since... 2001!! date's are confirmed... Sept 16 - 24. boo-ya!! i delivered the fabric, i delivered all media materials, film, photo, labeled the stuff, weavers.. check... loom.. check... oops except 2 essential pieces of the backstrap loom can not be allowed into the musuem due to insects/weavils. now i have to find alternatives. i've got to go to a window shop, maybe they can make something similar. by thursday. right on!!

we're still working on the guide to the exhibit. oh... and gotta go to plan b for fashion show... musical interlude by ganay, she'll play gongs instead of the 2 string sludoy... i got gongs... but of course, i can't find my beaters, the ones i keep picking up all year coz the kids play with it. nice! and i gotta find a 3rd gong. it's good, i'll find a gong.

of course, this is when the body decides it wants to do something else. been coughing, congested, about 3 times a day when i need it most my voice disappears. and what's an adventure for a woman without the monthly menses? with the matching cramps, and oops can't fit in my pants due to water retention. and then the gas... which came with the runs. oh boy! i think all the meds i've been taking for cough, cold, headache are wreaking havoc on my system. rock and roll!!!

but, it's all good. the show will go on. the dream's coming true. nothing will stop me...not crazy drivers, not weavils, not incompetent officials, and definitely not gas. classic!
