Easing back to the life...

First day back in the city after halcyon days on the islands.

1630 -

Bomb threat in the building where I work in the financial district. "Please do not panic, but you will have to evacuate, NOW." CL and I went down the staircase, to the street (as instructed), and directly to the pub in the alley nearby where we propped ourselves on the bar, allayed our agitated nerves with a couple of pints of Guinness' and discussed convergences, the phenomenon of a parallel universe, and the virtues of patience.

1930 -

Delivering art. Thank you for your patronage. Here is your painting, framed and ready to go. Enjoy your viewing party!

1800 -

New works and (not so) Shiny Silver Jeepney and other classics.
At the 'stiff. Check out "Launch"
I miss Bobby.

2300 -

SF Intl. Film Fest Closing Party at Mezzanine. Sushi and white wine while I watched the beautiful and hopelessly hip people parade in front of me.
Danced the night away with tall, movie/rock star handsome with his long-well-conditioned-easy-styled-hair Son Soo-pum, DP/cinematographer for "Sa-Kwa". Nabbed dreamy with his Bruce Lee-esque good looks, fellow RS parent MD for a final dance.

Tosca for the traditional after party party.

0200 -

Good night sweet prince.

"Back to life, back to the present time,
Back from a fantasy"

"John Cage... wanted to hear what absolute silence sounded like... and observed, while he sat quietly in a specially designed sound proof studio, listening to silence, that he could hear two distinct tones, a higher and a lower one... and was told one tone was his heart beating, and the other was the sound of his brain, neurons and electricty and nerves firing away. The point is, there will always be music."
